The sun has come out to play for longer, brightening our day’s, and our mood’s.

Here are some Helpful Tips to Care for Your Home this March

One Hour or Less:

• FOYER:  Trade your Winter Hats and Gloves for an Umbrella

• Swap your Doormat for a Bright Coloured one

• KITCHEN: Dust off Tables & Shelves and Clean Mirrors with a damp Microfibre cloth to make your space Sparkle!

• Clean out your Fridge (yes, it’s time).

• BEDROOM:  Swap your Duvets and Heavy Blankets for a Lighter Comforter

• Rent a Carpet Cleaner

• Wipe down all the Electronics in your House (and doorknobs)

Weekend Work:

• Hire an HVAC guy to clean your Ducts (> Check out our Directory for some Great Local Businesses <)

• Paint! Cheer up your Laundry room or Kitchen with Purple or Light Blue (>BM 2018 Colours Here<)

• Declutter your Dining Table and Replace Centrepieces with Flowers or Succulents

• Clean Up the Kitchen ~ Appliances, Backsplash, Light Fixtures, and Behind the Stove

• Check your Gutters to make sure they’re ready for Spring Showers!

• Wash the Slipcovers on your Furniture

• Dust the High Spots in your Home, and the Low Corners

• Sketch out a New Garden Plan!

• Organize your Receipts etc for Tax Time (It can’t all be fun stuff!

Maintenance and Extras this Month: 

• Clean the Inside and Outside of your Windows

• Check your Roof and Downspouts

• Plant a Tree!

• Make sure the Grading of your Soil Slopes Away from your Home

• Ensure Sprinkler Heads and Smoke/C02 are in Good Working Order, or Replace

• DeClutter!
